ALA continues to provide free legal consultations: from martial law to quarantine, and more

The Armenian Lawyers’ Association continues to provide free legal consultations. It should be reminded that the process of providing free online legal advice on legal issues to the public at large has started since March 2020.

To date, about 1,750 people have been consulted online.

After the end of the coronavirus state of emergency in 2020, during the martial law declared on 27 September, the vast majority of issues were related to military service.

Further, the consultations continued, which then were related to post-war issues: the perished, wounded, captured and missing civilians, and servicemen.

Consultations were provided by the ALA Yerevan, as well as regional offices in Lori, Shirak and Syunik marzes.

In addition to the questions of legal and informative nature from citizens, the organization has received complaints and suggestions on legislative and other changes in Armenia as well.

The organization will continue providing free consultations.
