On 30 December, RA Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan had a telephone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. The RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs.

“Following the recent conversation, the Foreign Ministers also exchanged views on regional peace, stability and security issues, discussed steps aimed at maintaining the ceasefire in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone and stabilizing the situation in Artsakh.

A number of issues on the Armenian-Russian agenda were also at the core of the telephone conversation between Armenia and Russia. In this regard, the high dynamics of bilateral allied cooperation was emphasized with mutual satisfaction, using its promotion in the coming year,” the statement reads.
