Today, Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia H.E. Abbas Badakhshan Zohuri.
This was reported in a press release issued by the Security Council.
Emphasizing the Armenian-Iranian good-neighborly relations, as well as the need to intensify the Armenian-Iranian cooperation in the development of regional strategic infrastructure in the post-war period, the Secretary General referred to the regional military-political security situation.
The parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue effective cooperation in the fields of security, economy, infrastructure development, science and others. Both sides stressed the unique role of the North-South highway in the development of Armenian-Iranian trade and economic relations.
