The leader of the “National Renaissance” Party Hayk Khanumyan wrote on his Facebook page․

“Turkish-Azerbaijani provocations in Artsakh, which has gained momentum during the last three days and continues to this day, are now directed not so much against the Armenians, but against the Russian presence in the Caucasus. Turkey’s goal is to overthrow the Russian peacekeeping mission, thus pushing Russia out of the South Caucasus.”
