Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan reports, “Three Armenian captives were transferred to the Armenian side through the mediation of the Russian side.”
Notably, during a question-and-answer session with the government in the National Assembly today, the Deputy Prime Minister stated that the Armenian side had proposed one more principle in the exchange of prisoners of war during the second Artsakh war, in addition to the “all for all” principle.
“We have also proposed the principle of unilateral return of prisoners without any preconditions in case of finding new prisoners after the exchange of prisoners. We think that this principle should also be announced,”Avinyan said.
Tigran Avinyan reminded that at the moment the Armenian-Azerbaijani sides are carrying out the work of clarifying the lists of prisoners, after which the exchange will take place.
