The government recently published a decision that eliminated some points of martial law in Armenia.
The decision specifically states ․
“Based on Article 17, Part 1 of the Law on the Legal Regime of Martial Law րդ Article 34 of the Law on Normative Legal Acts, the Government of the Republic of Armenia decides ․
- Recognize invalid Chapters 3 and 4 and Point 15 of the appendix to the decision N 1586-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia of 27 September, 2020 “On declaring martial law in the Republic of Armenia”.
- This decision shall enter into force immediately after its publication.”
According to the decision:
- The ban on organizing rallies and strikes and participating is lifted.
- Restrictions on publications and broadcasts are lifted.
- The special entry-exit regime and restrictions on the territory of the Republic of Armenia are eliminated.
