Artsakh ombudsman Artak Beglaryan wrote on his Facebook page. “”Symbolically” 31 years after the historic decision on the unification of Artsakh and Mother Armenia, on the same day our connection is physically broken, leaving only one “umbilical cord”…
For me, this is not only national, but also a personal tragedy, as my father, Artyom S. Beglaryan He died 28 years ago during the liberation of the northern settlements of Kashatagh, the settlements that are now being held captive. Regardless of this intermediate development, which is very different from the dreams of our martyrs, I am still proud of my family’s sacrifice for the Motherland…
Our generation owes a lot to the previous and future generations, and the new and more difficult stage of the Artsakh movement has already begun the end result of which largely depends on our generation.
By the way, I was born in the beginning of the Artsakh movement, I met that national awakening in my mother’s womb, and seven years before the adoption of the RA Constitution, after my birth on 5 July, my parents named me Artak at the last moment, instead of the other discussed version, Artsakh. So, from birth, then, at the beginning of my conscious life, I swore to dedicate my life to the Homeland and the Artsakh movement, until a successful end or a lifetime.
I AM NOT A KIND OF ESCAPING FROM THE OATH AND THE DEBT.”
