On 27 November, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan chaired an enlarged session of the Inter-Agency Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons.
During the meeting, a number of issues related to the process of negotiations on the exchange of prisoners, the search for missing persons were discussed.
The issues of social security and psychological support of the families of the killed, missing and wounded servicemen, as well as the provision of comprehensive information on the latest developments to the family members were discussed in detail.
The issue of accelerating the process of identifying the bodies of the victims was discussed as well.
The Deputy Prime Minister instructed the heads of agencies to solve the existing problems as soon as possible.
The government will also regularly brief the public on the government’s efforts to return the captives and detect the missing persons.
