On 27 November, RA Minister of Defense Vagharshak Harutyunyan received Commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov, stationed in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict zone to control the ceasefire regime.

The Defense Minister thanked for the rapid deployment of the peacekeeping contingent and the large-scale work carried out to establish and maintain peace in Nagorno Karabakh.

During the meeting, the Minister of Defense Vagharshak Harutyunyan especially emphasized the importance of the return of the prisoners, as well as the search for the missing and the process of exchanging the bodies of the servicemen. It was noted that a special headquarters was set up in Nagorno Karabakh for the effective organization of these works, which also includes the representative of the RA Ministry of Defense.

At the request of Vagharshak Harutyunyan, Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov presented the process of the peacekeeping mission and the situation in the locations of the peacekeeping contingent.
