Today, the RA Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan had an online meeting with the U.S. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Lynne Tracy.

During the meeting, the Defender presented the Azerbaijani atrocities, torture and inhuman treatment of the peaceful population of Artsakh and the captives.

Issues related to the rights of people forcibly transferred from Artsakh to Armenia due to Azerbaijani armed attacks were also discussed, paying special attention to children.

The Ambassador praised the role of the Human Rights Defender in the context of the war, as well as the recent events in Armenia.

In his turn, the Human Rights Defender thanked the Ambassador for cooperation in important areas.

The parties expressed readiness to deepen cooperation.
