The lawyers of “Homeland” party leader Arthur Vanetsyan have issued a statement, which says:

“As we already know, many opposition figures, as well as people with oppositional views, are in prison within the framework of obviously illegal criminal prosecutions.

Yesterday, the chairman of the “Homeland” party, Arthur Vanetsyan, was arrested again.

Today, at 16:00, the issue of the legality of Arthur Vanetsyan’s arrest will be examined in the Shengavit residence of the Court of General Jurisdiction of the city of Yerevan. The domestic courts showed yesterday that they are not ready to break the law and participate with their signature and seal in the disgraceful capitulation of our country.

We are full of hope that no force can make our courts to act against the law and conscience.
