Artsakh President’s spokesman Vahram Poghosyan writes on his Facebook page:
“Unfortunately, the nightmare of defeat, the hard feelings, will not leave us for a long time. Myths and the search for the culprits, no matter how unacceptable, are natural in the current situation, because the bitter reality is always difficult to assimilate in public perceptions. I have witnessed the 44 days of the war, I am best aware of the main political conversations and discussions, about which I will definitely write one day, when the time comes to judge and perceive soberly and coldly. But, for the sake of justice, today I will refer to a myth about the RA Prime Minister’s wife Anna Hakobyan, who allegedly participated in the sittings of the Military Council, during one of which there was an incident with General Movses Hakobyan.
In fact, during her stay in Artsakh during the war, Anna Hakobyan was engaged exclusively in rear work. I have already had the opportunity to talk about the “famous incident” once, without voicing the reality, which was inadmissible during the war. The fact that Movses Hakobyan was temporarily absent from Artsakh was not due to any talk, but due to coronavirus disease and pneumonia. Conversations that go beyond this context have nothing to do with reality.
This is all for now.”
