The Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Eduard Aghajanyan wrote on his Facebook page:

“Dear compatriots,

It is unequivocal that the expectation of the majority of the society today from the current authorities is the following: to ensure the internal stability of the country; not to allow the use of some dubious units; I assure you that we will not allow it.

At the same time, it is clear that for obvious reasons, you have many objective questions about the situation, the answers to which have not been given yet! We assure that the amount of information that has been published by other Prime Minister’s officials at the moment is the maximum that can be made public at this moment. But you must be sure that no details about this whole process will be hidden from the public. It is simply excluded.

I even consider it pointless to call for unity around the state at this moment, because that unity actually exists at the moment. We see it, especially in this situation it is more than binding. At the same time, everyone, including our political team, must be ready to take their share of responsibility.
We will not allow criminal units to seize power; we will use all the means defined by law to achieve that goal.

Do not doubt.”
