The police has issued a clarification, which reads:

“Armlur.am website disseminated information that an incident allegedly took place in the Government with the participation of the Chief of Police.

We inform that the information does not correspond to the reality.

In fact, the Chief of Police visited the Government building at night to talk about the situation with the gathered citizens, trying to jointly prevent the further course of undesirable developments.

We call on the media not to aggravate the already difficult situation by publishing inaccurate information, not to inflame passions artificially.”
