The battles in different parts of the front do not stop day and night. In particular, in the areas near Shushi, near the city itself, in the direction of the roads, the enemy managed to approach, the battles do not stop.

The representative of the Ministry of Defense Artsrun Hovhannisyan reported.

“Yesterday I mentioned that we defended Shushi, but, as it seems, the enemy, involving new forces and means, continues to implement its plans to capture Shushi. At this moment, our army is persistently resisting, inflicting significant losses on the wings, rear, channels, but the battles are persistent and continuous. For the third day already, heavy battles are taking place to resist Shushi, so that Shushi stays standing. It is the duty of all of us to believe in the Armenian military, to trust, and at this moment no other observations, panic moods, thoughts and rumors about evacuation, about retreat are appropriate… Nothing, we are resisting heroically, the army must keep its fighting efficiency, so that even the next victories can be won by its resistance. Today, there were battles in other directions as well․ The enemy tried to attack in the direction of Martuni with the help of armored vehicles. Losing one or two units of armored vehicles, the enemy was thrown back to the exit lines, leaving corpses. Fighting took place south of Berdzor, they tried several times to advance, but failed, our units managed to make some improvements in that direction. During the whole day small-scale shelling took place in the direction of both positions and settlements,” he said.
