The Criminal Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee continues the criminal case of aggression unleashed by the military-political leadership of the Republic of Azerbaijan along the Line of Contact of the Artsakh Republic, serious violations of international humanitarian law during armed conflicts, issuing a criminal order during an armed conflict, and mercenary. Preliminary investigation, within the framework of which large-scale investigative and other judicial actions are being carried out by the RA Investigative Committee an investigative group consisting of employees of the RA National Security Service Investigation Department.

The body conducting the proceedings made a decision on Muhrab Mohammad Al Shkher under Article 389 of the RA Criminal Code ( International terrorism ), Article 34-390, Part 1, Clause 1, Part 3, Clause 1 (Serious breach of international humanitarian law during armed conflicts), Article 395, Part 3 (Mercenaries) on ​​involvement as an accused. On 2 November, 2020, detention was chosen as a precautionary measure against him.
