The leading parties of the European Parliament on Thursday called for an effective mechanism of international control over the observance of the ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh RIA Novosti reported .
“We strongly condemn the violation of previously reached agreements …, call for an immediate and unconditional cessation of hostilities … We also call for the introduction of an effective international mechanism for monitoring the ceasefire,” the parties said in a joint statement.
