Today, on 27 October, Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan announced that by his decree Lieutenant General Jalal Anatoly Harutyunyan was relieved of the post of Artsakh Republic Minister of Defense – Commander of the Defense Army.

“The decision to release Jalal Harutyunyan is imperative at the moment, due to the wound he received in the military position these days.

I wish Jalal Anatoly a speedy recovery, I am sure that he will return to serve the homeland very soon, “said Arayik Harutyunyan.

By another decree of the Artsakh President, Major-General Mikael Alberti Arzumanyan was appointed Minister of Defense of the Artsakh Republic – Commander of the Defense Army, he was awarded the military rank of Lieutenant General.
