There are clear facts that in the war against Artsakh the Azerbaijani Armed Forces use Czech 152 mm DANA self-propelled artillery pieces: Gayane Abrahamyan

Gayane Abrahamyan, MP of the NA “My Step” faction, wrote on her Facebook page:

“As the head of the Armenia-Czech Republic Parliamentary Friendship Group, during my visit to the Czech Republic in October last year, I met with both the Vice Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic and the head of the Armenia-Czech Republic Friendship Group. In response to the Czech Republic’s strong concerns about reports of arms sales to Azerbaijan, it received assurances that there had never been a direct sale and that media investigations were untrue.

Our parliamentary colleagues assured that despite the close economic cooperation with Azerbaijan, the sale of weapons is unacceptable. However, during these war days we received clear facts that in the war against Artsakh the units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces also use Czech 152 mm caliber DANA self-propelled artillery pieces. Our long-standing friendship with the Czech Republic, based on our joint efforts and values to protect our cultural and historical heritage, democracy and fundamental human rights, must preclude the sale of such deadly weapons, especially today when the Azerbaijani-Turkish tandem unleashes a terrorist war against Armenia. .

This terrorist war is not only directed against Armenia, it is not just an attack on democracy, but a rampant attack that destabilizes the whole region and has irreversible consequences, in which any country involved and supplying weapons will be considered a supporter of terrorists.
I called on my Czech counterparts to make every effort to demand from their government to suspend the deals, to strictly investigate how these military installations appeared in the ranks of the armed forces of the terrorist country.”
