At the 15 October sitting of the Supreme Judicial Council, in accordance with the provisions of Article 135 of the RA Judicial Code, a candidate for the post of the RA Court of Cassation was elected.

According to the results of the voting, Lilit Tadevosyan, President of the Criminal Chamber of the RA Court of Cassation, was elected a candidate for the post of the President of the RA Court of Cassation.

The Supreme Judicial Council shall submit the relevant documents on the candidate for the position of the President of the Court of Cassation to the National Assembly in due time.
