The leader of the hostile country recently made an appeal to the people of Azerbaijan, which in its rhetorical style aimed to be the victorious speech of the so-called “September war”. Turkologist Varuzhan Geghamyan said this.

“However, the thoughts expressed in the speech, such as the list of the achievements of the Azerbaijani side, in addition to not being substantiated somehow, also testify to some program changes with the enemy.

Let me try to make a cautious assumption (this is only a guess in the true sense of the word) that the speech is aimed at justifying the first 15 days of the war to the Azerbaijani audience (which can be described as the first stage), with a detailed list of non-existent villages and settlements, and also the military equipment, which is largely nothing), and then noting it as a political victory (change of the status quo, return of Armenia to the negotiating table, etc.).

Leaving aside the main content of the speech, the transmission of such messages today is also important. Again, one can cautiously assume that this speech has not only a foreign audience, but also a domestic one.

However, it takes time to say more, so we will continue to follow and at the same time, without losing vigilance for a minute, keep our rear and the front like on the first day.”
