RA Ministry of Defense Spokeswoman Shushan Stepanyan presented new heroic episodes from the tank battles:

“On 2 October, during the enemy’s attack on the Defense Army’s defensive zone, the commander of the battery, Captain Gegham Martik Martirosyan, correctly assessing the situation and the direction of the attack, shot seven enemy tanks, forcing them to retreat in panic.

On 2 October, during the enemy’s attack in the defensive zone of the Defense Army, the commander of the detachment, junior sergeant Sahak Vrezh Mkhitaryan hit two tanks, and the junior sergeant Ashot Yesayi Yesayan hit two tanks and two wheeled vehicles. The accurate shots of the soldiers panicked the enemy and forced them to refuse to advance.

“On 2 October, during the enemy’s attack in the defensive zone of the Defense Army, Major Hayaser Kamo Dallakyan hit two tanks attacking in front of the tank line, confusing the enemy and hindering the advance of the latter’s tank unit.”
