On 5 October, the RA Minister of Defense David Tonoyan received the US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Lynne Tracy.

The Minister of Defense presented the current course of hostilities, underlined Turkey’s unprecedented direct involvement and support to the Azerbaijani side. Davit Tonoyan stressed that the development of the situation at this rate will be catastrophic for the whole region.

The US Ambassador expressed concern over the unresolved humanitarian issues during the hostilities, in connection with which David Tonoyan noted that they are not resolved due to the lack of interest of the other side.
