The President of the Artsakh Republic Artur Tovmasyan made a post on his Facebook page, which reads:

“I met with the knight of the” Battle Cross “, the founding commander of the” Sworn Freedom Fighters” Union Ruben Gevorgyan (Tsaghik Rubo) and the member of the board of the” Sworn Freedom Fighters” Union Stepan Simonyan.

The members of the union, as they stood by our brave fighters in April 2016, are still in Artsakh today with 220 freedom fighters, in 2 different directions of the front, under the command of Zaven Tumanyan and Arthur Danielyan. This unity will be crowned with success on the battlefield. And my dream is for the experienced freedom fighters of the Artsakh liberation war, April and this war to gather under one flag, to be in one non-governmental organization. WE WILL WIN.”
