RA Prime Minister Anna Hakobyan writes on her Facebook page:
“We the women must be very strong to overcome difficulties. The whole point of my being here is that at this difficult time I want to be with the Armenians of Artsakh. During this time we must be as strong as possible.
I have no doubt about the strength of the Artsakh woman, the Armenian woman in general, I just want the whole world to be convinced once again in my presence that we will not hesitate, we will not be afraid, the victory in this war will be ours sooner or later. This is my conviction.”
“On the way to Artsakh, my husband said that our son should also go to the positions as a reserve. On the way to Stepanakert, I told my son, “My son, I adore you, but you should know that there is no nobler thing in this world than to die for the Homeland” This is said for the whole life. No point in me as a mother, cannot change these words, neither today, nor after one or ten years. And I know that I am not the only one, not the only one, but one of the hundreds of thousands as a woman and mother and that is our victory,” – Anna Hakobyan said.
Metaksya Hakobyan, a member of the “Justice” faction of the Artsakh Parliament, spoke at the meeting about the willful character of the people of Artsakh, emphasizing that this time, too, the people of Artsakh always unite in difficult moments. Especially women, all in a family like that, there’s my child, your child, theres, our children, our families. There are soldiers from everyone’s house right now on the border, one’s husband, the other’s brother, son, and those women who have not been depressed for a second, everyone is sure that we will win in this war we will definitely shoot the last bullet and will to win: We are simply doomed to do so. We have no other choice.”
Eleonora Avanesyan, an MP from the “Free Motherland-UCA faction, stressed that women stand firm and do not want to give in, even if they are depressed. “There is no such thing, we are always standing, ready to go to the end.”
“As it is said the rear of the man should be firm. Today, we, the women, are the rear of the men. We must be strong, we must be united and this is our strength, we are strong together. Thank you for your visit. I have no doubt for a second that God will help this time too, victory will be ours. This is a temporary ordeal, a temporary challenge that we must overcome with honor, together, united. “God bless our soldiers,” Karina Atayan, a member of the “Free Motherland-UCA faction said.
