4319 tests were performed yesterday, out of which 295 new cases of coronavirus disease were confirmed. We have 162 recovered people.
At the beginning of the government session, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that the number of infected people has increased in these two days.
“It is true that the number of tests is large, yesterday we had 4319 tests, the previous day – 4135. Let me remind that in the most difficult period, the daily number of tests did not reach 3,000. However, the trend is worrying,” the Prime Minister said, adding that for the first time since March, yesterday he noticed a traffic jam, which is probably due to the opening of schools.
Deputy Minister of Health Avanesyan, in her turn, noted that they notice a percentage increase in testing; today it is 7%, which is worrying. The Deputy Minister connected it with the return of people from holiday homes, the activation of trade in the pre-school period. “In the first few weeks, we will see the results of the opening of schools.”
