NA Deputy Vahagn Tevosyan made a note on his Facebook page that the composition of the competition commission for the vacant position of the Executive Director of the Public Television has been approved.

By the decision N36-L of the Council of Public Broadcaster of 7 September, 2020, an ad hoc committee was set up to hold a competition to fill the vacancy of the Executive Director of the Public Television.

By the same decision, the Council of Public Broadcaster approved the staff of the Committee, which is as follows:

Ara Shirinyan – Chairman of the Public Broadcaster Council (Chairman of the Committee), Tigran Hakobyan – Chairman of the Television and Radio Committee, Mkhitar Haryapetyan – Chairman of the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sports of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Arayik Harutyunyan – Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, Nune Sargsyan – Executive Director of the “Media Initiatives Center” (Secretary of the Committee). Today, on 8 September, the requirements of the competition will be published on the website of the Council of Public Broadcaster.
