Zhanna Andreasyan, Deputy Minister of Education and Science wrote on her Facebook page: “In order to ensure the necessary conditions in educational institutions in the conditions of COVID 19, the draft adopted at today’s government session envisages:
– To provide masks to pupils of public schools, including special specialized schools, extracurricular institutions, as well as primary and secondary vocational education institutions, in the amount of 20% of the total daily number, as the rule of attending institution in a masked applies; masks are intended to be changed if necessary, to provide as needed.
– To provide the staff of public schools, extracurricular institutions, primary and secondary vocational educational institutions with masks in the amount of 100% – 2 pieces a day.
– Provide 100% of the staff of special “specialized school students” with masks – 3 per day.
The draft envisages providing educational institutions with hand sanitizers, both for pupils and staff, and means for disinfection of buildings.
In addition, the institutions will use for this purpose the savings generated during the previous half year, if available.
Taking into account the possibilities of changing the situation, the purchases will be carried out for a maximum of one month, reviewing the expediency of their further purchase, if necessary.”
