According to the Ministry of Health, from 31 August to 1 September, an alarm was received that according to preliminary data, 10 people were admitted to Armavir Medical Center on suspicion of poisoning with a diagnosis of “alcohol intoxication”.

Unfortunately, there are deaths. 3 died in Armavir hospital. 4 patients were taken to “Armenia” Republican Medical Center, where the latter died. One patient was taken to the resuscitation department of “Erebuni” Medical Center. The doctors assess his health condition as extremely serious.

Doctors assess the health condition of the 2 victims transferred from Armavir Medical Center to “Armenia” RMC as severe. They are in the intensive care unit, the necessary medical measures are being taken.

One resident of Armavir region applied to “Armenia” Medical Center with the same symptoms, but refused medical assistance in writing and was discharged.

In addition, 4 citizens from Yerevan applied to “Armenia” RMC, again with the same symptoms, who also died.

In fact, according to preliminary data at the moment we have 11 deaths, from “alcohol intoxication”.

One patient suspected of poisoning is in the intensive care unit of “Heratsi No. 1” Clinical Hospital.

Note that the data are preliminary, epidemiological research is being carried out. Results and additional information on the health status of the victims will be provided.

Notably, a criminal case has already been inquired into the fact.
