The Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a consultation, during which the construction project of the Firdus 33rd district of Yerevan, which is still under development, was discussed.

It was reported that the total construction area is 58 thousand square meters, 49 thousand square meters have been developed, and the 9 thousand square meters area are in development stage. 378 families have already been compensated, 50 families are in the process of compensation.

It was mentioned that 7 architectural groups with 60 architects are working on the construction projects of the district. The amount of compensation is $ 60 million, and the investment cost of the construction of the whole district is estimated at $ 300 million. It is expected that 8-10 thousand new jobs will be created during the construction works.

The officials assured that great attention will be paid to the protection of the monument buildings. Underground parking lots will be built in the district as well.

Afterwards, an interesting exchange of views took place, during which various observations and suggestions were made in connection with the construction.

Prime Minister Pashinyan stressed the need for follow-up work on the protection of monument buildings, and noted the need to maintain the previously developed standards until the end of the project.
