On 5 August, RA Prime Minister’s spouse Anna Hakobyan sent a letter of condolences to Lebanese President’s spouse Nadia Al Chami Aoun, expressing her support related to the 4 August explosion in Beirut.

I am deeply shocked by this great tragedy in Lebanon. I share with you this grave grief, I express my support to the families and relatives of the victims. I wish all the wounded a speedy recovery.
The Armenian people stand by fraternal Lebanon, praying for a speedy recovery from this tragedy and for the country to return to normal life.
We are with you in these difficult days with our prayers and thoughts.
May God grant patience, spirit and peace to the friendly people of Lebanon! I believe that the “Pearl of the Middle East” will emerge from this crisis stronger and more united.
