Today, the third President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan had a telephone conversation with the Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia Aram I, expressed his condolences over the tragic incident that took place in the port of Beirut yesterday, which caused human casualties and destruction.
President Sargsyan expressed his condolences and support to the friendly people of Lebanon, wishing the relatives of the victims endurance and courage, and all the wounded a speedy recovery.
Serzh Sargsyan inquired from the Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia about the condition of our compatriots in Beirut, the damage done to national structures, cultural and cultural centers, and as the chairman of the “Luys” Foundation Board of Trustees, expressed readiness to take part in their restoration.
