The Prime Minister’s Spokeswoman Mane Gevorgyan reports that the Government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, is in constant contact with the Lebanese government and community leaders to assist our brotherly Lebanon. As a result of the discussions, the main directions of needs were clarified, within the framework of which the Armenian government will deliver targeted assistance to Beirut, both at the governmental and community levels.

Assistance will be in the form of medicine, medical equipment, food, and other supplies.

The assistance of the Government of the Republic of Armenia will arrive as soon as possible by a special flight.

It should be noted that Prime Minister Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with Lebanese President Michel Aoun, expressing the readiness of the Armenian authorities to provide assistance to friendly Lebanon and its fraternal people.
