Therе should not be too high expectations in the study of judges’ integrity. Lawyer Edgar Shatiryan said this in the interview with Iravaban.net. According to him, soft and non-rigid tools have been introduced for vetting.
“From the very beginning, the noise in relation to the process was very big; this was somewhat natural, but also somewhat artificial. It was clear that there had to be resistance, not everyone was waiting for that conventional vetting, but at first some judgments and some statements were made, which resulted great expectations among the public. A large segment of the society is waiting for “gallows”, “blood scenes”, but this vetting is obviously not aimed at that. “I mean that the expectations are too high,” the lawyer said.
