On 13 July, 2020, at around 15:10 p.m., shots were fired from the enemy’s military bases on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on the settlement Chinary of the Berd community of the Tavush region, motivated by national hatred, in a life-threatening manner, illegally, with the aim of intentionally killing and intentionally destroying property. The shell was released in the direction of the houses of 2 residents on the 12th street of the same settlement. However, the crime was not completed and the outer walls and windows of the mentioned private houses were damaged in a dangerous way..

On the same day, a criminal case was initiated in the Berd Investigation Division of the Tavush Regional Investigation Department of the RA Investigation Committee under Article 34-104 (attempted murder), Part 6, Clauses 6, 13, Article 185 of the RA Criminal Code (intentional property destruction or damage) by points 1 and 4 of Part 2.
