The head of the NA “My Step” faction Lilit Makunts made the following post on her Facebook page:

“Today, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces provoked the state border of the Republic of Armenia, to which they received an adequate response from the Armenian Armed Forces, suffering human losses. Nevertheless, Azerbaijan continues to escalate the situation by actively launching military operations involving large-caliber weapons. It is clear that these actions are in the context of Aliyev’s belligerent statements, aimed at undermining the peace process.

From that point of view, I consider the international adequate response important, including the CSTO’s appeal to Azerbaijan, which will be an additional straitjacket for belligerent Baku. Hopefully, the Azerbaijani side will quickly take appropriate action, it will not try to solve internal political problems at the cost of human lives, otherwise the entire responsibility for the consequences will fall on the political leadership of Azerbaijan.”
