As of 11:30 on 9 July, 76 residents of Shirak region are being treated for coronavirus in Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital.
The Shirak regional administration informs.
From 1 March to date, 5492 samples have been taken in the regional centers of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Shirak marz. From 12 May to 8 July, 4138 samples were examined in Gyumri, 41 new cases of coronavirus disease were confirmed on 8 July.
As of today, 1,028 people in the region have instruction of domestic self-isolation, and 277 of them have a positive diagnosis of an asymptomatic disease, the control is carried out by the primary health care system.
334 residents of Shirak region have been treated from the coronavirus and have been discharged from the hospital so far.
45 patients were taken to the capital. There were 24 deaths.
