On 2 July, at 06:11 local time (02:11 GMT), the Seismological Network of the Seismic Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia registered a 2.6 magnitude earthquake with 40.05⁰ north latitude and 44.51⁰ east longitude coordinates in Armenia in 3 km south-east of Marmarashen village of Ararat region, 10 km depth in the epicenter.
The magnitude of the earthquake in the epicenter was 3 points. The earthquake was felt in Artashat city, Dvin, Marmarashen and Araksavan villages with 2-3 magnitude.
