The Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan made a post on his Facebook page, which reads:

“The first dose of medicine (for 500 people) purchased with the state budget within the framework of the national treatment program for Hepatitis C is already in Armenia. It was supposed to be delivered in early spring, but due to restrictions on coronavirus flights, the delivery of drugs was delayed.

Within the framework of the program, the citizens of the Republic of Armenia with hepatitis will be treated in turn, according to the prescription and medical instructions. This year, medicines will be purchased for 1,000 people. The program aims to completely eradicate this infectious disease.
