Environmentalist Jeanne Barseghian, a representative of the French Green Party, has been elected Мayor of Strasbourg, France. Le Мonde reported.

Jeanne Barseghyan is the great-granddaughter of Perdjouhi Partizpanian-Barseghian, one of the three women deputies of the parliament of the First Republic of Armenia.
