The Supreme Judicial Council has started the examination of the disciplinary case on the judge of the Criminal Court of Appeal Aleksander Azaryan.

Notably, the disciplinary proceeding was initiated by the Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan on the basis of the report of the head of the SIS Sasun Khachatryan. During the session, Azaryan’s attorney Tigran Atanesyan will mediate to invite Sasun Khachatryan to the SJC as a witness to testify about a number of important circumstances.
