“Recent developments in Armenia reveal a painful reality: a painful reality of not choosing between means to achieve goals.” Independent MP Arman Babajanyan stated this in the National Assembly, speaking, in particular, the coverage of the processes taking place in Armenia by the Russian media.
“Our opposition colleagues in the National Assembly, political scientists and experts with a clear political orientation are pouring out curses on the Armenia and Armenian statehood on Russian television. All this fits into the cheap and anti-state logic of “bringing a boy from aside”. At first, they run to the embassy of their sponsored country, present the dose of the complaint about Armenia to the ambassador, then they appear on Russian TV, which is filled not only with dirty statements about their own country, but also with the Russian host’s nonsense,” Babajanyan said.
According to the deputy, the latter prefer to talk to strangers instead of speaking from this tribune with their own people. “Gentlemen, these events will pass, but the trace that you leave with your anti-state activities will remain and will not be erased from our memory.”
