The leader of the “My Step” faction Lilit Makunts made a speech in the National Assembly today, on 17 June, speaking about the statement preceded by the boycott of the “Prosperous Armenia” faction, in particular the part related to silencing the opposition.

“As a proof of silencing the opposition, the “Prosperous Armenia” faction brings the political statement in response to the political statement made by the head of the faction on 5 June, already by the head of the” My Step” faction, and this is attributed to an attempt to silence the opposition. First of all, I think we should all go beyond that logic to silence someone who is not only inadequate and does not correspond to our value base, but does not correspond to reality. And just as the political majority cannot silence the opposition, so the opposition cannot silence the political majority with political statements or any other way,” Lilit Makunts said.
