The Human Rights Defender’s Office has been operating in an overloaded mode (since Sunday) since early morning of 16 June.

“At the moment I want to clarify 3 issues:
- The issues related to the professional work of journalists are under my direct attention.
We will study the videos of the incident with the police in detail and according to the results of the investigation; we will decide the issue of means. We will work with journalists individually.
- I talked to wrestler Roman Amoyan today on my initiative. We have initiated a separate proceeding on that issue.
- At the moment, a group of my staff is working in one of the police departments, according to the received alarm.
We have already issued an official statement from the Human Rights Defender’s Office regarding some of our work done in connection with the visits of 112 people to the Yerevan Police and Regional Departments.
