Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan met with the heads of medical organizations dealing with coronavirus disease.
The officials presented the current issues, as well as discussed the forthcoming activities.
The Minister drew the attention of those present to the information availability of the centers, in particular, the number of free and busy beds.
“It is clear that the flow is very high and the free bed can be occupied very quickly, but it is also possible that the information is available so that someone’s medical care is not delayed,” Arsen Torosyan said.
The heads of the medical institutions stated that the bed burden mainly falls on the resuscitation departments.
The Minister stressed that even if the pace of the disease has been maintained in recent days, the existing hospital bed fund for coronavirus disease is still sufficient, given the new developments. He also called on the heads of the centers to be consistent in the treatment of patients and to pay special attention to discharges.
