After attending the Commnadant’s Office session remotely, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a briefing. Mher Davidyants, director of the Nork Infectious Diseases Hospital in Yerevan, and Vaghinak Minasyan, a senior lieutenant in the 5th Special Battalion of the Yerevan Police Department participate in the briefing as well.

Minasyan noted that the citizens have started not to follow the lawful demands of the police.

“During the non-violent, velvet revolution, I often heard the call ‘the policeman is ours.’ A foreign Police officer of external service is on duty almost all day is talking to you. I urge you to follow the decisions of the Commandant. The police can use coercive measures, but that is not our goal,” he said.
