Simonyan Nazani, born in 1919, was transferred from Nork Retirement Home to St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center on 16 May with a preliminary diagnosis of a new coronavirus infection. The study diagnosed coronavirus disease with bilateral pneumonia. The condition was assessed as severe, taking into account her age.

The spokeswoman of the medical center Tsovinar Khachatryan reported.

“For more than a week, she was in the intensive care unit, received adequate medical treatment, and after a certain stabilization of her condition, was transferred to the intensive care unit to continue treatment. At the end of the treatment, after a double negative test, Nazani Simonyan was discharged completely cured,” she said.
