Tigran Avinyan’s New Decision on the Lifting of Restrictions

“Dear Compatriots,

According to the new decision  decision, a number of changes in the restrictions applied during the state of emergency will come into force on 18 May.

In particular:

The ban on public transport will be lifted. I would like to note that the process of public transport will be allowed only with personal protective equipment, with masks and gloves.

The places of trade will be reopened.

Restrictions will be lifted only on outdoor activities in the public catering sector.

The ban on gyms will also be lifted.

Outdoor historical and cultural sites will be reopened.

Restrictions on the activities of cultural creative groups will be lifted, but only for experiments in small groups.

Preschool education will be allowed, i.e. kindergartens will be able to operate.

Rules:

Clear security rules will be established for all areas to be reopened, and only possible activities will be observed.

People will have to wear a protective mask in public places.

The maximum number of participants in public events will be set at 5.

Failure to comply with the rules will result in the imposition of liability under the law,” Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan said.
