According to the information provided by the Ministry of Health of the Artsakh Republic, the results of the examination of 31 tested samples were received, 25 of which were negative and 6 were positive, ie the infection with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) was confirmed.

Four of the six citizens mentioned above are members of the same family in isolation, and another member of their family has been diagnosed with a coronavirus infection a few days ago (Nor Brajur). The other two citizens are from the scene of the incident registered a few days ago in the Shahumyan region (from the town of Karvachar).

Notably,  since 7May,  according to the decision of the Artsakh Parliament, restrictions on the right to free movement have been imposed in different communities of the Shahumyan region, and since 12 May, the movement of the entire region has been restricted.

It should be noted that 20 cases of new coronavirus infection have been registered in Artsakh so far, 8 of which have already recovered.
