RA Gegharkunik Governor Gnel Sanosyan made a post on his Facebook page, which reads:

“In the last two days, 11 new cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Gegharkunik region, and 7 citizens have recovered.

One case of death was registered. The patient was 61 years old (woman) and had concomitant chronic diseases.

We have confirmed cases in Vardenis, Mets Masrik, Shatvan, Sotk, Norakert, Tsovinar, Tsovazard, Sevan, Ddmashen, Geghamavan and Martuni (city) communities of the region.

The scope of contact of all the infected people is being clarified, according to the medical instructions, the process of self-isolation and isolation of the citizens is being carried out.”
